Jaibremar reunites three musical compadres to play the original compositions of Brazilian born, Brisbane based guitarist Jaider de Oliveira. Jaider’s compositions feature the beautiful harmonies and uplifting melodies that his home state , Minas Gerais, in Brazil, is known for. Featuring Jaider’s unique guitar bass combination and vocals, Brendan Hook on saxophones and clarinet and Melbourne based maestro of Brazilian styles Mark Grunden on drums and percussion, Jaibremar fuses afro, funk, samba, baiao, bossa, choro and jazz with a generous mix of traditional roots music.
